Choosing a Car for the Dhaka–Chattogram Highway

Comilla lies on the Dhaka–Chattogram highway, so long trips and heavy vehicle traffic are common. When buying a used car, check the engine, gearbox, tyres, brakes, suspension and service records carefully, and look for accident damage and repainted panels. Low-lying areas can face waterlogging in the monsoon, so also look for water marks and rust on the underbody, beneath the carpets and in the engine bay. To understand running costs on long trips, see our guide to hybrid car fuel consumption per km.

Compare Listings in Dhaka, Chattogram and Comilla

Comilla sits on the highway between Dhaka and Chattogram, so many buyers compare listings in both big cities as well. You can also browse used cars in Dhaka city, Dhaka Division and used cars in Chattogram. Always arrange to see the car in person with the seller before you pay.

Used vs Reconditioned vs New Cars in Comilla

• Used cars: locally registered, previously owned cars. They are usually cheaper, but the papers and real condition need careful checking. Browse used cars.
• Reconditioned cars: typically used cars imported from abroad (commonly Japan) that are inspected and refurbished before sale. Ask for the condition report or auction sheet before buying. Browse reconditioned cars and read our guide to car import rules in Bangladesh.
• New cars: unused cars bought from a showroom or dealer, usually with warranty and service support.

Car Price in Comilla: What Decides the Cost?

The price of a private car depends on the brand, model, manufacturing year, mileage, condition, and whether it is new, reconditioned or used (second-hand). Whether you are checking the used car price, 2nd hand car price or recondition car price in Comilla, the same factors apply, and the same model can be priced differently from one ad to another, so compare several listings.
